Updated dive algorithm

The decompression algorithm Suunto Fused™ RGBM 2, is now available for Suunto EON Steel. The Suunto Fused™ RGBM 2 combines and improves widely respected Suunto RGBM (Reduced Gradient Bubble Model) and Suunto Fused™ RGBM decompression models developed by Suunto together with Dr. Bruce Wienke. The Suunto Fused™ RGBM 2 has been developed to give divers various diving opportunities and especially support deep air dives by giving better optimized total dive time.

Suunto Fused™ RGBM 2 highlights:

• Optimized ascent times on deep air decompression dives
• Enhanced dive times for repetitive dives
• For decompression diving there is an option to select between a stepped ascent profile (3 meter / 10 feet steps stops) or continuous ascent profile
• Further developed no-fly time calculation
• 3-meter safety stop after long decompression stops removed
• EON Steel with Fused™ RGBM 2 supports open-circuit and closed-circuit diving.

• In Suunto app you can relive, and share your diving adventures, build an all-inclusive dive history by enriching your dive logs with photos, comments and dive location. • Suunto app can also track your other sports and daily activity with a compatible Suunto sports watch.

Logbook improvement

• New features have been added to the dive log viewer in the dive computer to enhance usability and enrich the available dive info.
• The improved and enriched summary page will help you analyze your dive by showing average depth of dive, CNS and OTU levels as well as your personal dive settings.
• If using Suunto Tank POD you can also follow the development of your gas consumption and SAC rate.

New easy way to keep your dive computer up to date

• Software updates will hereby be available via SuuntoLink. SuuntoLink is a desktop software available for OS and Windows that keeps your device software up to date.
• The latest software will also be available to download in DM5.

Added language

• Suunto EON Steel is now also available in traditional Chinese.

Maintenance improvements

• This release also includes enhancements to improve device performance and usability.

This release content is free of charge and available in SuuntoLink and DM5.

Optional additional dive algorithm

Suunto EON Steel can now be upgraded to include the Bühlmann 16 with Gradient Factors alternative dive algorithm for a cost suggested retail price of 80€. After the upgrade, you will have the possibility of changing the 2 existing dive algorithms on your device: Suunto Fused™ RGBM 2 and the Bühlmann 16 GF. You can easily navigate between the two dive algorithms before or after the dive.

The Bühlmann 16 GF software update includes:

• Gradient factors low (10-100) and high (50-100) to adjust level of conservatism.
• Continuous and stepped ascend profile for Bühlmann 16 GF
• No algorithm lock functionality for Bühlmann 16 GF
• Possibility to reset tissue compartments in both dive algorithms (Suunto Fused™ RGBM 2 and Bühlmann 16 GF)
• Classical layout as default
• Current time added as default value to dive view

The Bühlmann Software upgrade for Suunto EON Steel is available via Online Service Request (OSR) or by contacting your local dealer.

La actualización de software 1.6.4 aporta nuevas características a Suunto EON Steel

Nueva opción de pantalla prominente

Además de las opciones de pantalla gráfica y clásica, ahora puedes elegir la opción de pantalla prominente. El estilo prominente muestra la información clave para bucear con cifras grandes y fáciles de leer. La profundidad y tiempo de inmersión se muestran con claridad a la izquierda de la pantalla, y la información de la parte derecha es personalizable. Puedes elegir, por ejemplo, si quieres ver la presión de la botella, la brújula, el tiempo sin descompresión o el temporizador mientras buceas.

En tres idiomas adicionales

Suunto EON Steel cuenta ahora con 17 idiomas, tres de ellos nuevos: checo, danés y japonés.

La actualización de software también incluye corrección de errores y mejoras.

Suunto EON Steel mejora con nuevas características y avances

Compatibilidad en 14 idiomas

Suunto EON Steel ya está disponible en 14 idiomas diferentes. Además de inglés, ahora puedes usarlo en chino simplificado, holandés, finés, francés, alemán, italiano, coreano, noruego (Bokmål), polaco, portugués, ruso, español y sueco.

Conectividad móvil con Suunto Movescount

Suunto EON Steel se conecta de forma inalámbrica con Suunto Movescount App (disponible para iOS y Android). Puedes transferir tus registros de buceo desde Suunto EON Steel a Suunto Movescount a través de Bluetooth con la app. En Suunto Movescount, puedes recopilar y compartir tus aventuras de inmersión y crear un completo historial de inmersiones, además de enriquecer tus diarios de buceo con historias, fotos y vídeos. También puedes cambiar los ajustes del EON directamente desde la app.

Modificar las mezclas de gases durante la inmersión

En caso de emergencia, ahora los buceadores que utilizan mezclas de múltiples gases pueden modificar los gases durante la inmersión. Esto te permite continuar la inmersión y obtener datos de descompresión correctos en tu ordenador de buceo EON Steel de acuerdo con el cambio de gas.

Mejora de la duración de la batería cuando no se utiliza el dispositivo

Sueño profundo es una nueva función que prolonga la duración de la batería después de dos días sin utilizar el Suunto EON Steel. También puedes ajustar el tiempo en espera (entre 1 y 5 minutos), transcurrido el cual la pantalla se apaga.

Mejoras en la personalización

Ahora puedes elegir tener más datos en la misma vista y mantener una buena legibilidad. Con pares de campos personalizados es más fácil examinar todos estos detalles. Los pares de campos son más fáciles de organizar en la pantalla, de modo que puedas ver exactamente la información que deseas tener durante la inmersión.

Mejoras en el diario

Ahora los registros de buceo pueden examinarse por profundidad máxima y tiempo de inmersión (además de fecha/hora).

Indicador de bloqueo del algoritmo

El algoritmo Suunto Fused™ RGBM se bloquea durante 48 horas si omites paradas de descompresión durante más de tres (3) minutos. En estas situaciones, ahora aparece en pantalla "BLOQUEADO" en lugar de "ERROR".
